Have you ever hired a photographer only to have to shell out hundreds of dollars for a few enlargements and a handful of 4x6 prints? Memories shouldn't cost thousands of dollars. This is one reason that I was inspired to return to portrait photography.

ABOUT ME

I originally went to UCLA to pursue Fine Art Photography but I was unable to register for a photo class the first quarter and enrolled in a sculpture class with George Herms and it was life changing. I continue to create/exhibit my sculpture which is found objects/neon and can be seen here. I work with found objects because people fascinate me. This fascination with people is also exactly the reason I thoroughly enjoy portrait photography.

Photographing people is NOT my profession. I actually lead a team of administrators and developers in delivering technical solutions for a very prestigious University in the Bay Area. My career is very exciting and rewarding. However, in order to fulfill my creative and artistic needs (and feed my soul), I also photograph people. Confucius once said, “Choose a job you love, and you will never have to work a day in your life.” and that's how I view my photography.

I'm not a photographer for hire. I shoot only friends/family/colleagues/friends of friends. I do one day aspire to pursue my photography as a career and therefore, I am building my portfolio for that purpose.
